- Real estate prices in the Netherlands
Real estate prices in the Netherlands will continue to rise!
In the second quarter of 2018, new records were set for the level of property prices in the Netherlands. According to the Dutch Association of Real Estate Agents NVM, this situation was due to a shortage of supply on the market. The Association expects that by the beginning of 2019, the average cost of the proposal will rise to the level of 300,000 €. Thus, prices will still have to rise to 10%.
Property prices in various cities of the Netherlands
The real estate market situation differs significantly in different parts of the country:
- In Almere, Amsterdam, The Hague, Groningen, as well as nearby cities, the market is, as they say, "overheated".
- In other, less densely populated regions, the real estate situation is not at all critical.
More precisely, there is a constant rise in prices in Amsterdam. Even in the last quarter, they grew by 19%. Therefore, locals prefer less expensive options in other regions. The cost of apartments has increased both in The Hague and Tilburg - by 18%. Even with a slight decrease in sales (by 7-10%), buyers do not stop buying new housing before selling the old one. The Netherlands occupies one of the leading positions in the growth of property prices in Europe - the national average is 9.3%. At the same time, the percentage of rise in prices for different housing is significantly different:
- Novostroi - 11.2%; Secondary housing - 9%.
